MOVIES

Everybody like to watch films. Whether it is Hindi or Marathi or English good film is a good film. Films have become part and parcel of our today’s life. As they are enjoyable and full of entertainment. In the beginning the movies were silent and the sound was added later. Also earlier the movies were black and white but now they are in colours. So, they have become more enjoyable. Slowly videos also came in the market and people could see their favourite movies in their homes whenever they wanted.
Watching a movie is really exciting. It has story, music, Songs, Dance, Fighting, beautiful actors and locations, they are attracting poor as well as rich audience and hence is a powerful medium of mass communication and entertainment. But they can have good as well as bad impact on the people. As far as health is concerned, excess watching of movies affects eyes and brains, important time of study is wasted and in turn can spoil of our future.
Sometimes if luck prevails then the talented persons can get to the top like Shahrukh Khan. Some actors like Hema Malini or Govinda can even get elected for the Parliament also but it doesn’t mean everyone can reach to that stage. At the extreme some people are so crazy for their favourite actor that they form a fan club and start worshiping them also. Anyway movies have become essential thing of life and no one can avoid it, but at least we should control it.

BENEFIT OF GARDENING

Generally a public garden is a green and calm place that gives us coolness and happiness. It is having green plants decorated with varieties of flowers, benches for sitting and lawns for playing. The footpaths are throughout the garden. I liked the gardens very much in my childhood. Since the I have developed interest in gardening. We have a beautiful two storey Villa in our town. It is surrounded by a open space where we have lot of fruit plants. Flower plants and vegetables too. We have custard chili, Curry leaves, big daisy, jasmine, coral tree, marigold and rose flower around our bungalow. We also had jujube tree giving us many sweet fruits but it spread everywhere so we had to cut it down. There are varieties of money plants with beautiful big green leaves.
It is very interesting to do gardening. It gives so much pleasure to me. Every day I water them and take care whether any of the plant is drying. I do trimming whenever it is required. It gives them good look and shape and they start growing in branches. It is very interesting to see them growing flowering and bearing fruits.

KRISHIRAJA

After knowing about the king from our history subjects, mythological stories, picture I see at many places or through dramas and cinemas, I am very much impressed by them. They are rich, powerful, handsome, healthy, brave, wearing rich dresses and jewelry, diamond necklaces.
But real Indian HERO is
Farmer the KRISHIRAJA
More than Indian people 70% are farmer, they are real power of our nation cause
They produce the food-crop wheat bajara vegetable, fruit grapes pomegranate, mango, oil seeds
He works hard and always busy day and night sun and shower, ploughs the land, sow the seeds
Protect crop at night guard the crop against stray cartel, guard the harvest against the thieves
He provide food to all Indian, but he cannot get two full meals a day, he can’t get real price to his agree product, he face many problems. His wife also works at home and farm she can’t wear fine clothes. Many time we read farmer’s suicide after being drive to debt by crop failure or higher cultivation costs, far greater loans.
Can us able to change this picture.
We should be proud of our KRISHIRAJA.

THE CONDITION OF WOMEN IN OUR SOCIETY

Women in the past were considered inferior to men/ They were confined within the four walls of the home. They had to do all the household work. They usually had no school education. Neither did they have much freedom.
At present their condition has considerably improved, This is true especially in many of India’s cities. Many girls now go to schools and colleges, and many women are taking up jobs. However, they are still expected to look after the needs of the family. Men still avoid attending to household chores.
In the future we can expect a considerable change in the lives of women, particularly those living in rural areas. Women will hold important post in all fields. Men and women will be considered equal. Both will do equal work in the home.

LOST IN A STADIUM

I once went with a few friends to see a football match. The match was being played at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in nearby town. The match was fairly exciting. Both the teams played well. But there was a great deal of confusion when it got over. Crowds pushed this way and that to get out of the stadium. I was carried along in a wave of people to one exit and all my friends to another. I realized after some time that I was truly lost. I did not now the way home Neither did I have any money. I was on the point of tears. I wondered to the place where many autorickshaws were standing. My face must have shown my worried state of mind, for a kind gentleman came up to me and asked me where I was from. He seemed genuinely concerned. It seemed he was from my town and stayed quite close to my house. He offered to take me home in an autorickshaw . I went along with him. This kind man reached me right up to my doorstep. I was glad I was home safe, and so were my parents, I shall never forget that day or that kind man.

SCHOOL RECESS

Every day after the fourth period there is a recess for thirty minutes. As soon as the bell rings, boys and girls rush out of their classes. The quiet school premises changes into a noisy place.
Children are seen chattering cheerfully. A feeling of freedom reigns everywhere. Some students open their Tiffin-boxes and eat. Others go outside and buy food items from hawkers. Some students go to the library and read. Others play games or run races. A large crowd of children gather at the water-taps. The school grounds appear lively and gay.
The bell rings to signal the end of the recess. Students return to their respective classrooms. Once again the school premises are quiet.
